J at School Programming
When the work day extends beyond the school day, students can participate in organized physical activities inside and out, receive homework help, create art projects and play games, and enjoy healthy snacks.
- AfterSchool embraces a no-electronics policy in support of developing healthy minds and bodies.
- Offered Monday through Friday starting at 7:00am (BeforeSchool) until 6:00pm (AfterSchool).

Illinois Action for Children
J at School partners with Illinois Action for Children to help over 150 J at School families receive partial or full state funding for services ranging from Early Childhood, Camp, and After School. If you would like to learn more about Action for Children please visit their website at http://www.actforchildren.org/. If you would like to inquire about eligibility to receive Action for Children Assistance please contact J at School at 312-775-1848.
iCook is a once-a-week, after-school, fee-based activity that exposes students to culinary skills, healthy foods, and food culture. This program is for students in grades K to 4th. Information on signing up for the fall 2018 program is available HERE.
