Dear Solomon Family--

We have a few mid-week updates, including the wonderful news that we are *this close* to surpassing our WJR fundraising goal of $20,000; see the pledge-o-meter below. The last day to collect funds is this Thursday, so we can still make it. So, I will sweeten the deal...

Who hasn't wanted to hit me in the face with something? I'm sure many of you, not to mention all of our students, feel that way :) So, if we surpass our goal by Thursday, all students will have the ability to either give me a PIE in the FACE or hit me with a water balloon. Staff, I ask that you please don't put any rocks inside the pie! Our Field Day is scheduled for Monday, June 13, and I will happily take one (or 352) in the face if we can pass that goal! Let's do it!

Please see below for reminders about McTeacher's Night (tomorrow night), our rescheduled Tot Time, and a big thank you from our 7th graders. We are so proud of Room 120 with Ms. Liu surpassing the goal for their refugee project with Exodus World Relief. There is a lot to celebrate at Solomon, and I hope to see you tomorrow night at McDonald's!

In partnership,
