    A Day in Pre-K

Students are greeted each day by their teachers and escorted to the classroom. There the students wash their hands, write their names and answer the question of the day. Pre-K friends then join their teachers on the carpet where they graph the weather, count their friends, and engage in literacy and math curriculum.

After songs and a story, students participate in 60 minutes of play with purposeful teacher developed centers.

  • Students participate in gross motor activities in and outside of the classroom.

Daily, students work in teacher-led small group centers that focus on writing, listening, literacy, math, and science.
